2012 started musically pretty well, with 2 albums in producing stadium. Hallie from Boca Chica, came to visit me from Pittsburgh for the recording of an album, which took us 10 days. We did 9 songs in 10 days. Here’s one of the songs we did:

Steev Lemercier and the rest of the Lala by are working on the next album called “Another Time”. After the dark 2nd album “Charivari” this one will be more quiet and romantic. We’re going to play at Südblock with the Lala’s on the 24th of February 2012 to celebrate the release of “Pendulum” on My favorite robot.

There will also be some new gui.tar stuff soon too and some recordings with new friends, so stay tunes!

I have been invited by S&yM to dj this saturday the 3rd of December 2011 at Südblock as suppport for Oni Ayhun and Mar Ritt. Oni Ayhun is the guy from the Knife and he will be presenting a more arty project, so be thrilled and come by!

Autumn is coming and with it the nostalgic fresh air and the wandering in the parcs looking for falling leaves. Jules Etienne e le volpi are having a little creative break and no concerts for a while. Therefore the last concert in a long time will be next wednesday the 14th of september 2011 in Joe’s Bar on Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg. We’ll start round 21.00 as usual.

Inspiration for electronic dance oriented music got me again and i’m working on a few tracks right now… I’m also working on some sorts of ways to pack all sorts of instruments and music into one piece. Here’s the result:

The Lala by will be playing in Geneva on the 22nd of September in Motel Campo. I will also dj with Lemercier at the after party. Some release of Lala by is soon to come out. More info on that matter soon.

The Jules Etienne team has been working on a new layout for the homepage. Here it is thanks to Manfred. I’m currently working on new songs for the next Jules Etienne e le volpi album. it will be a studio album and therefore a bit more produced than the last ep, that is to come out on cd next month after i ran into some money…
